Hidden River Cave, located in Hart County, Kentucky, is
currently mapped at around 11~ miles in length and
continues to have significant exploration potential with-
in the region. Over the last year, ongoing exploration
efforts have resulted in several new discoveries and a
better understanding of the cave. In addition to this, a
new biological inventory conducted during the fall of
2025 documented more of the cave's fauna and provided
several interesting insights into the ecosystem present
within Hidden River Cave. This presentation will summa-
rize recent discoveries, discuss areas of future potential,
and highlight the results of the biological inventory.
