This is a networking and information sharing session of Cave Conservancy partners and institutional members of the NSS. Aron K. Schmid, co-manager of the Harlansburg Cave Preserve for the Mid-Atlantic Karst Conservancy, will be leading a discussion on some conservation challenges specific to Harlansburg Cave such as graffiti on fossils and actinomycetota. Mike Warner, Vice-President of the Cave Conservancy of Hawaii will speak and lead a discussion on SLAM Lidar and implications for cave management.
