DESCRIPTION:During the CUCC Austria Expedition\, the speaker learned to cre
ate geotiffs from drone imagery. This highly detailed imagery is fun to lo
ok at\, but without more context\, it is hard to use in the field. This ta
lk covers adding the images to a QGIS project and integrating the images w
ith entrance data and known cave passages. The talk covers a potential sol
ution for collecting entrance and feature information in the field and upl
oading directly to the GIS project. This should reduce data entry errors a
nd keep photos together with their locations.
