Various Illustrator tools are demonstrated to show useful methods and settings for rendering cave maps. Tools include compound paths, clip masks, transform effects, opacity, the symbol sprayer, and actions. If time permits, we'll look at image morphing in Photoshop using Puppet Warp. These methods have proved useful for map making in terms of working efficiently and accurately, and achieving unique visual effects.
