DESCRIPTION:Pennsylvania has always had its share of commercial caves to in
 terest the curiosity of the public. Although the number does not compare w
 ith that which occurred around Mammoth Cave in Kentucky before the 1930s\,
  the commonwealth has had its share of tourist attractions. A search of th
 e literature has revealed that there were many more small venues than real
 ized. Twenty-four caves have been identified as show caves in Pennsylvania
  and another ten could be considered. There are only nine commercial caves
  in operation today. The question still remains as how to define a show ca
 ve. This presentation is an attempt to gain response and prospective of wh
 at is a commercial Cave and if there is a difference if we call it a Show 
 Cave.
