DESCRIPTION:The Bob Marshall Wilderness famously contains some of the best 
 alpine caves in the United States. The Silvertip Cave system resides in th
 is area and cavers have explored it for decades. During the 2025 Silvertip
  Expedition\, the team focused on exploring other caves in the area. The m
 ain highlight of this year's expedition was pushing Bobsled Cave\, which w
 as previously discovered in 2023. It proved to be an exceptional\, sporty 
 cave filled with virgin borehole. The team added 1\,000 ft of vertical dep
 th to the cave\, bringing the total depth to -1\,842 ft. Bobsled now holds
  the title of the second deepest limestone cave in the United States.
