DESCRIPTION:CaveSim was invented in 2008 to address the problem of caves ge
 tting damaged during mock rescue scenarios. First used during Search and R
 escue trainings in Colorado\, CaveSim rapidly evolved into a tool for teac
 hing conservation with minimum-impact physical movement through the cave. 
 The CaveSim organization is building several additional mobile caves that 
 include new STEM learning features. The new caves are bigger\, more realis
 tic\, and robustly designed to handle increasing visitation. By taking our
  CaveSim design to the next level\, we are making it possible for educator
 s from other organizations to use CaveSim as a STEM education tool\, poten
 tially increasing the number of students who can explore and learn via the
  CaveSim system. The staff at Great Basin National Park use their CaveSim 
 for public outreach\, proving that CaveSim systems in the hands of other o
 rganizations makes adventures in learning through cave and karst conservat
 ion accessible to families around the country.
